Firm, succulent and super tasty
We're fussy about what goes into our bangers. For a start, the pork is British and we've been selective about the cuts we use, to be sure you get a meaty, succulent mouthful. We're also careful when we mix the ingredients together, so that the bite is consistently firm. And finally, we changed our seasoning to deliver a punchier, more authentic Cumberland flavour. The only challenge left is to limit yourself to just one.

Imagine Britain without sausages… Hard, isn’t it. But that’s what it was like, before the Romans introduced bangers, along with central heating, coins and other clever things. The varieties we’re now famous for are thought to have developed according to what was locally available. In the county of Cumberland that was spice, brought in to the busy port at Whitehaven. So when you bite into one of our Cumberland sausages, you’ll get that lovely punchy flavour delivered by black and white pepper, with a smidge of cayenne.
