Taste the Difference Prosecco Conegliano

Last Christmas we gave you an award-winning sparkling wine from a small winery in Northern Italy.

This little sparkler won not one, but two awards at the International Wine Challenge 2011, making it ideal for the 2011 festive season. Pale gold and fruity with gentle bubbles, this Taste the Difference Prosecco Conegliano was made for us in the Italian countryside by a small family winery, Cantine Maschio.

Lovely bubbly

The Italians are rightly proud of their Prosecco, which is produced in the Veneto region. A zesty and light sparkling wine, Prosecco is meant to be enjoyed while young and fresh. Light enough to serve on its own, it is also famous for inspiring the classic Bellini cocktail which is made by pouring 125ml of Prosecco into a champagne flute with 25ml of peach purée at the base of if.
