Championing cheese from Britain and beyond

We all know what good cheddar tastes like, but have you tried some of the other cheeses we source from around Britain and beyond?

We'll help you find cheeses you like, at a price you want to pay.

Cheese has been made for thousands of years all around the world, so it's no wonder that there are so many varieties available today. If you don't know what you're looking for, it can be a bit confusing. We'd like to help you discover some different cheeses - so you can find the ones you like best.

Made the traditional way

Many of the British regional & speciality cheeses we sell are made by small creameries and Farmhouse makers who have been making cheese for over two generations. Our Farmhouse Cheddar is produced in age old traditional open vats at a farm in Somerset.  It's been made to a traditional recipe for over forty years. These cheeses are hand packed in traditionally-shaped moulds and then wrapped in muslin and matured on wooden benches in maturing rooms that have seen thousands of cheeses over the years.

The firm, slightly crumbly texture and full on flavour of the cheese makes it great for any cheese board.

Our Blue Stilton Cheese is from the Tuxford & Tebbutt Creamery in Melton Mowbray and like all Stiltons is made from locally produced milk.

Our Taste the Difference Parmigiano Reggiano is matured for 24 months to give it that fabulous nutty smooth flavour. Whilst many people use this cheese for cooking it is a good enough cheese to serve on a cheeseboard or shave onto roasted veg or a tiny salad as a starter.

Cheese will keep well for up to a few days after you've opened the packet if you wrap it tightly and store in an airtight container.

Cheeses are best served at room temperature to fully enjoy the flavour and texture. This allows all the volatiles in the cheese to be released and permits the cheese to soften or run if it is a member of the brie family.
